We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join our team in the food industry.
As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meat products to meet customer specifications.
This is a hands-on role that requires precision, attention to detail, and knowledge of food safety regulations.
Duties:
- Cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer requests - Operate meat processing equipment such as grinders, slicers, and saws - Ensure proper storage and handling of meat products to maintain freshness and prevent contamination - Package and label meat products for display or storage - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cutting area - Assist customers with their meat selection and provide excellent customer service
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or similar role in a kitchen or food preparation setting - Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and their characteristics - Proficient in using knives and other cutting tools safely and effectively - Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service If you have a passion for culinary arts, enjoy working with meat products, and have experience in the food industry, we would love to hear from you.
