What You Will Do The Warehouse Associate at POS360 Inc.
is a dynamic entry-level position combining responsibilities of general warehouse operations and inventory management.
The ideal candidate will engage in a variety of tasks including equipment assembly, safety compliance, inventory management, warehouse organization, work order management and shipment handling.
The role is pivotal in maintaining an orderly and efficient warehouse environment.
The Day-To-Day Equipment Assembly:
Assemble equipment according to provided instructions, ensuring each component is correctly placed and securely fastened.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
Conduct quality checks on assembled equipment to ensure it meets the required specifications and standards.
Safety Compliance:
Strictly follow all workplace safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Warehouse Supervisor immediately.
Participate in safety training sessions and stay updated on best practices for equipment handling and assembly.
Inventory Management:
Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages to the supervisor.
Help in organizing and maintaining the warehouse space to ensure easy access to inventory and efficient use of space.
Participate in regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Warehouse Organization:
Collaborate with the team to develop and implement organization strategies for the warehouse.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are stored properly and are accessible.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the warehouse to foster a productive work environment.
Work Order Management:
Keep accurate records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure work orders are processed efficiently, from initiation to completion.
Utilize warehouse management software systems to track and manage work orders.
Shipment Handling:
Manage the receipt of incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices, and report any discrepancies.
Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring products are properly packaged, labeled, and documented for delivery.
Coordinate with shipping carriers and handle necessary documentation for domestic and international shipments.
Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of previous experience in a warehouse setting, particularly in equipment assembly, inventory management, or shipment handling.
Proficiency in using various types of assembly tools and equipment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks on an ongoing basis.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software (NetSuite is a plus).
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety protocols and the ability to consistently apply them.
Work Environment This role operates in a warehouse / office setting.
It involves regular physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving heavy objects.
