A Local Coordinator is an essential role for making exchange students dreams possible and helping them have a successful year.
The basic role of the LC is to find host homes in your area of California, to help the students have a successful transition when they arrive here, and to assist students and families during their exchange year.
NW Services is looking for Local Coordinators in Butte County to help exchange students come and experience their dream of coming to California on exchange.
You must live in California and be within 120 miles of the students you are overseeing.
The pay for this position is based on a per student basis.
If you are able to arrange one host home and student supervision, you get paid a set amount for the placement of the one student, plus a monthly supervision amount for that student.
The more students you find host homes for and supervise, the more you are able to earn.
This is a very flexible position.
There are no office hours.
Most of your work is done remotely.
You will have the support and supervision of our regional manager, Joy, who is from Chico, CA.
You will need to occasionally meet host families and students in person at times that work for your schedule and theirs.
Our Pay For Placements is as follows:
Standard Placement:
$800 per student California Guarantee Placement:
$1300 (means student paid extra to make sure they come to CA) Supervision:
$50 per month per student you supervise This is a great opportunity for someone who has relationship with local high schools and high school student families, as many of the most willing host families are those who currently have their own high school students.
This is a great side income opportunity.
